KLEKIT is a modern Ukrainian choir founded in January 2025 in Berlin by singer and arranger Yuliia Holub, who continues to lead it today. The project grew out of Christmas workshops dedicated to Ukrainian kolyadky (traditional Christmas carols), creating a sense of connection and home in Berlin. KLEKIT quickly became known for its unique repertoire: instead of traditional choir music, the choir performs Ukrainian retro songs, folk songs, and Christmas carols in contemporary arrangements featuring jazz harmonies and innovative rhythmic approaches. Today, KLEKIT is a fresh and courageous voice of Ukrainian culture in Berlin.
For Fête de la Musique, MOKKA*MILCH becomes a place for listening, discovering, and connecting.
Music meets people. Voices, strings, rhythms, and melodies come together, linger for a moment, and move on.
Amidst great food and special drinks, a diverse musical program unfolds: jazz, folk, and pop meet Ottoman instrumental music and a cappella singing. Each performance brings its own language, and together they tell a story of the joy of sharing music with one another.
Come by, stay for a drink, a meal, or simply spend the whole day with us. Let yourself drift, listen, discover something new, and enjoy the moment with us.
Between 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM, new music will start every hour.
