Issey Jean is a folk/rock singer-songwriter from New Zealand, her music hits home with sincerity, powerful melodies, and contrasting vocals, full of hooks. She began songwriting from a young age, performing in
plays, dance shows and school bands, eventually studying acting and performance at the New
Zealand National Drama School: Toi Whakaari. Since moving to Berlin Issey has most recently performed solo at Passenger Coffee, Motif Wein and ORi – Forum künstlerische Bildmedien and formed a new
band for her debut album and future projects.
