Berlin Hip-Hop Akademie Cypher @ Rough Trade Stage
The Berlin HipHop Academy is a platform for urban culture, creative education, and cultural participation in Berlin. Since 2023, the collective has been working with teenagers and young adults across various Berlin districts, creating spaces for artistic expression, connection, and personal development.
Founded by Drob Dynamic, the Academy combines HipHop culture with educational practice and contemporary youth work. Through workshops, sessions, and cultural projects, participants create their own songs, beats, performances, graffiti pieces, and audiovisual formats.
The Berlin HipHop Academy sees HipHop not only as a music genre, but as a cultural force that builds community, empowerment, and new perspectives. At its core are creativity, diversity, and equal access to cultural participation, regardless of background or social circumstances.
