Rough Trade x Flux FM x Kalle Neukölln present: Monzi
Monzi is an Irish Singer Songwriter whose debut album ‘Swings’ was released in April 2025.
‘Swings’ was written and recorded in Berlin over a three year period.
Musings around time, place and people are given great life by arrangements that leave just enough space for Monzi’s vocal to draw the listener in and sing a chorus which never disappoints. Influences stem from traditional American folk and rock song-writing that when combined with an inventive production creates a nostalgic yet optimistic thread that runs deep throughout these songs.
