Greener F\u00eate de la Musique<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

With the “Greener F\u00eate de la Musique” project, we aim to help make events held as part of F\u00eate de la Musique Berlin as responsible as possible and to implement measures that reduce environmental impact. At the same time, we want to develop F\u00eate de la Musique further as an open and inclusive cultural space \u2014 one that enables cultural participation and makes social diversity visible.

Greener F\u00eate supports music venues and participants in organising their events in a more resource-conscious way, and in giving greater consideration to aspects such as accessibility, diversity, and respectful interaction. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To make this happen, we’re counting on your support.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

In the “A Greener F\u00eate de la Musique Berlin” action guide, you’ll find tips, ideas, and good practices for measures that can be implemented at events held as part of F\u00eate de la Musique. These range from resource-conscious event organisation and climate-friendly mobility to measures for greater accessibility, inclusion, and neighbourly consideration.

The action guide and checklist offer a first point of orientation and help you factor sustainability in from the start \u2014 whether you’re already implementing individual measures or just setting out on this path.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Receive the Greener F\u00eate Award!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We recognize music venues that implement sustainability measures.

Our goal is to showcase inspiring role models that demonstrate how a sustainable F\u00eate de la Musique can succeed \u2014 while also supporting venues in building effective sustainability practices.

Your Benefits:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Awarded music venues receive the Greener F\u00eate label and will be highlighted in the official program<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, you can receive a 300\u20ac expense allowance if you evaluate how the sustainability criteria were implemented and submit the completed data collection form by July 3rd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If your lineup includes an inclusive band, you\u2019ll receive an additional 100\u20ac from pinc music<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The application deadline is June 4, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

a) Complete and sign the self-declaration form

b) Submit the filled-out criteria checklist, including all relevant mandatory criteria and at least five optional criteria<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Catalogue of measures<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

At its core is a catalogue of measures that lets you systematically select, implement, and document sustainability actions. A complementary data collection template helps you capture relevant key figures and track developments in a transparent way.

This is how a simple, practice-oriented sustainability management approach takes shape for your music venue, step by step \u2014 tailored to your possibilities, resources, and circumstances.<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Taking feasible steps<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

With this measures programme, we want to set concrete changes in motion, share knowledge, and work together to build a more sustainable F\u00eate.

It’s not about perfection, but about feasible steps, honest implementation, and continuous development.

Green Deal<\/h2>\n\n\n\n


As part of a Green Deal, F\u00eate de la Musique Berlin committed in 2021 to further developing measures that give greater consideration to sustainability and climate protection in how the event is delivered.<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
\n

At the same time, F\u00eate de la Musique Berlin aims to play a driving role on a national level: F\u00eate de la Musique is celebrated in more than 170 German cities, and many of these places face similar challenges.

Due to its decentralised structure, with numerous venues across both public and private spaces, F\u00eate de la Musique Berlin involves particular organisational demands.

Different locations and infrastructures come with different conditions, which makes planning and implementing strategic sustainability management especially challenging.<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Green Deal forms a basis for giving greater consideration to ecological and social aspects as the event develops in the coming years, and for advancing measures for climate protection and responsible event organisation.

With the Greener F\u00eate Charter, we invite stage operators, musicians, suppliers, and visitors to join us in working towards a responsibly designed F\u00eate de la Musique Berlin.
